The Associate Designer is responsible for the creation of original product design through vision and AI illustration of design concepts and artwork into clothing appropriate for our customer.

The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist Senior Designer and VP Design in concept presentation and line building recaps, executing design ideas and Illustrator sketches
- Assist in executing deigns to the Conceptual Assortment Plan, while staying within pre-determined development ratios
- Assist in building Design presentation boards
- Research competitive market/trend and present ideas to Senior Designer
- Responsible for building technical packages to include detailed sketches, measurement specifications, BOM and hands off to Technical Design
- Maintains extensive knowledge of the line and is responsible for tracking and updating changes
- Creates trim sheets, pitch sheets, and original stripe and print placement layouts
- Build collaborative relationship with cross-functional partners, including Product Development, Merchandising, Technical Design, Fabric, Print, CAD, and Color teams
- Responsible for notetaking and recaps in fittings, and updating sketches based on changes
- Manage and maintain internal charts and libraries
Who You Are:
- Knowledge and experience at a level normally acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of related experience
- Independent, self-motivated, and detail oriented
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Must be highly organized
- Able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced office environment
- Must be highly collaborative in a team environment
- Strong work ethic and follow-throug
- Strong computer skills especially Adobe Illustrator as well as Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
- Experience working in a PLM system
- Working experience using MS Teams a plus
- Experience working with graphics and/or embellishments a plus
