Position Title: Studio Manager/In-House Photographer

External Description:

The Photo Studio Manager is a key position on the Marketing team supporting the image and video development across multiple divisions and product categories. As the In-House Photographer, will be responsible for providing photography based on the needs of the business, the main focus being web product photography. The position is also responsible for maintaining the studio, its equipment, as well as keeping everything clean and in good working order. This role will need to be on site during shoots adjusting as needed.

This position will also act as the liaison between the Art Directors and the digital techs in regards to IT support.

What You'll Do:

  • Act as lead digital tech for model and stills shoot.
  • Photograph stills as needed.
  • Open and close studio for shoots, prep studio prior to shoots.
  • Ensure all systems are fully operational and running efficiently.
  • Works to achieve high productivity and quality of photography by continuing to streamline workflow in order to support studio initiatives and projects.
  • Manage an efficient operation and a culture that mixes innovation and creativity.
  • Build strong partnerships with cross functional teams and create an efficient operation and a culture that mixes innovation and creativity across all channels.
  • Maintain the high quality of photography for stills and product still life in studio that has already been currently established. May be additional photography in various environments as needed.
  • Provide IT support for the digital techs and help organize files and folders to ensure monthly images are processed correctly.
  • Manage the leasing, renting and repairs of the photo equipment.
  • Help to continuously improve the studio, workflows and processes.
  • Transition frequently between multiple studio roles/functions as the work requirements demand.
  • Occasional video and video editing as needed.

Who You Are:

  • College degree
  • 3-5 years experience of photography in a corporate setting
  • Knowledge in CaptureOne, Photoshop, and Final Cut
  • Proficient in OSX and Mac systems
  • A deep understanding of all stages of the photography process
