Position Title: SEO Analyst

External Description:

Basic Purpose:

The SEO Analyst will work to develop, implement, and manage the SEO campaign for Talbots.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Keyword research to support product naming and content creation
  • Meta data creation and implementation
  • Competitive analysis 
  • Redirect strategies and implementation
  • Site relaunch recommendations, implementation and QA
  • Technical site audits
  • Technical trouble shooting (canonical tags, product feed issues, etc.)
  • Work with the paid search team to align search strategies
  • Keep up to date with search industry updates and trends 
  • Manage vendor relationships to support SEO

Education/Experience/Knowledge:

  • BS or BA Degree required; preferably in Business, Marketing or a related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant SEO experience required
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google AdWords, Adobe Analytics, DeepCrawl, Conductor
  • Experience with large site migrations is a plus
  • Technically proficient, experience working directly with developers on projects
  • Expertise working with, analyzing, and interpreting data
  • High attention to detail and superior time management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize appropriately
  • Excellent communications skills, particularly written
  • Prior retail E-Commerce experience a plus
  • Prior experience with Sales Force Commerce Cloud a plus
