Position Title: eCommerce Support Manager

External Description:

The eComm Engineering Support Manager will be responsible for leading the team that actively supports Talbot’s eCommerce Production operations.  Primary objective is to lead team that maintains 24x7x365 uptime (production lights-on operations & support team) for eCommerce Applications, Tools, processes, and operations used by our customers, internal business and CRM teams. 

We are looking for someone that is able to lead software engineers and staff to engineer, support, and maintain eCommerce applications, support for the business, and tools to complete day to day operations, including Flash sales, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday peak revenue periods.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mgt Info Systems, or technology or equivalent
  • 5+ Years of documented Leadership Experience, for Software Support-Team Leadership and/or Software-Engineering Team-Management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Strong project and change management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Keen problem solving skills, ability to deal with complex situations and recommend a course of action
  • Must be flexible and able to respond to rapid change to meet business needs
  • 3-5 years of progressively more responsible team-leadership & work experience in application systems development, design, and support
  • Support Team-leadership Experience in a broad spectrum of business application environments is desirable

Knowledge:  

  • Working Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC:  Systems Development Lifecycle), Support Operations, eCommerce Software Engineering, and eCommerce Products-Support Leadership
  • Prefer Oracle ATG eCommerce Platform (or related platforms, such as Demandware, Magento, etc.)
  • Software-Engineering Team Leadership Experience, leveraging Java and/or Microsoft .Net Platforms
  • Lights-On knowledge for eCommerce and Production Support
  • Working Knowledge of systems in/around the eCommerce Operations vertical, such as Endeca, Akamai, JBoss, Java, Analytics, User-Replay, Dynatrace, Monetate, NeoLoad/J-Meter, Scene7.  
  • Working Knowledge of eCommerce Load Testing, Regression, and Automated-Test Products
  • Experience with/leading-teams with eComm-products such as Endeca, Akamai, JBoss, Java, Analytics, User-Replay, Dynatrace, Monetate, NeoLoad/J-Meter, Scene7.  Understanding and/or Team-Leadership experience of eCommerce Load Testing, Regression, and Automated-Test Products
