Position Title: Mgr Stores Finance

Basic Purpose
This position will serve a key role in the Stores finance organization, overseeing all aspects of the Store P&L including store level sales, payroll, and various KPIs. In this role, you will work directly with the Stores leadership team to develop and report progress towards achievement of sales and payroll goals, providing thoughtful analysis.
Principal Accountabilities
- Responsible for all aspects of the budgeting, monthly forecasting, monthly reporting of the Stores function including store payroll and incentives, occupancy, various operational expenses, and overhead
- Partner with Stores leadership team to prepare, distribute, and provide insights on store sales and payroll projections to deliver productivity and profitability targets
- Understand real estate plan and associated occupancy cost and apply knowledge to monthly variance analysis and development of forecast and budget
- Understand and apply knowledge of operating sales of business to Stores expense and productivity goals
- Provide reporting, analyses and insights to ensure continuous progress towards achieving financial and performance management metrics
- Monitor and manage multiple expense line items on the Stores P&L; partner with the business to understand risks and opportunities

Number of Direct Reports and Titles
- Financial Analyst
Education/Experience/Knowledge
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA or MBA a plus
- 8+ years experience with progressive financial reporting and planning experience
- Retail industry experience strongly preferred, ideally with Stores Finance experience
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with Oracle and Hyperion preferred but not required
- Ability to build financial models and analyses with limited guidance, and make recommendations
- to improve results

- Detail oriented with highly developed problem solving skills and excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and effectively prioritize to meet deadlines without
- sacrificing quality
