Position Title: Analyst Pricing & Promotions

The Pricing & Promotions Analyst is responsible for the functional delivery, communication and management of the process supporting promotions and POS pricing for the Outlet channel. This position will work closely with all functional areas of Company Planning and applicable business teams to ensure all promotions ring correctly for stores in the business channel. The Pricing & Promotions Analyst will serve as a liaison between the Merchandise Planning team and Store Communications. This role will be responsible for ensuring accuracy of promotion execution while working closely with all cross-functional teams, ultimately assuming responsibility for the Outlet channel.

 What You'll Do:

  • Support the business with coordination and execution of deals and promotions in pricing system.
  • Responsible for all CFT communications and materials needed for timely execution.
  • Serve as the pricing system expert and advise the business teams on best execution process.
  • Partner with Store Operations team in response to business critical promotional or pricing errors in stores.
  • Maintain pricing and promotions calendar for the team.
  • Manage creation of cross channel markdown and POS picture books for the business as needed.
  • Monitor store bar code use and identify areas of opportunity for the business.
  • *Assist the Sr. Analyst with business tasks as needed.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the Manager.

Who You Are:

  • • Bachelor’s degree or matching business experience required
    • 1-2 years of experience preferred in retail, planning, allocation, or systems support
    • Functional understanding of retail/vertical retail business processes
    • Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
    • Ability to use logic to solve problems
    • Able to present ideas and direction clearly to others
    • Able to build strong relationships with a diverse group of business partners
    • Ability to use logic to solve problems
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
    • Experience with or a strong ability to learn reporting/data warehousing tools preferred
    • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
    • Possess a strong sense of urgency and a high level of attention to detail
    • Must be disciplined and able to work under pressure while being flexible and able to adapt
