Position Title: Exec End User Services Technician

The Executive End User Services Technician provides concierge-level desktop and mobile support to empower Talbots executives and their executive admins to work optimally.  This highly visible role must meet enhanced service levels including 24/7 availability to resolve issues and answer questions with best-in-class customer service.  This person must be self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable with multi-tasking.  They can maintain a high attention to detail and be inventive as needed.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide guidance and expertise to executives experiencing problems or desires with company provided IT equipment, including but not limited to mobile phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, printers, and video conferencing equipment.
  • Utilizing the accrued experience from you and your team to quickly resolve issues in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and needs.
  • Research, test, and support existing and new endpoint technologies requested by executives to ensure lasting compatibility and administration.
  • Assist the End User Support Team in resolving issues including taking ownership of tickets or initiatives, as needed.
  • Advance issues to appropriate teams in a timely manner and acts as the liaison between IT and the customer.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure that proper security procedures are implemented and enforced based on internal policies and procedures (patch management, configuration, hardening, etc.) and safeguard security of equipment and data files
  • Follows the established principles of the Information Technology Mission, Vision, Values and Principles (MVVP)

Who You Are:

  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • 7 years of direct, face to face IT support experience with at least 2 years of Executive/C-Level support
  • Deep knowledge of Windows, Macintosh, iOS and Android operating systems and hardware
  • Thorough understanding of the Microsoft 365 Suite (specifically Outlook and Teams)
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Networking, and mobile communications
  • Must possess the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously, knowing when escalation of issues is necessary.
  • Desire to stay current on the latest technologies and keep well-informed of current technical trends.
  • Ability to meet project deliverables and communicate any unscheduled changes.
  • Keen problem-solving skills, ability to deal with complex situations and implement a technical solution
  • Show tact, discretion, confidentiality and good judgment in handling critical and confidential matters and documentation.
  • Understanding of Mobile Device Management is a plus
  • Experience with ticketing systems like Cherwell, ServiceNow, etc.
