Position Title: Mgr Store Info Systems

External Description:

This position will be based onsite.

The Manager, Store Systems leads the strategic and tactical direction of store systems including Dayforce, Omni, POS and Playerlync.  This position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with field & store partners, cross functional business areas and vendors.  The position acts as a liaison between Store Support, field leadership, stores and IT, HR, Payroll, Sales Audit, Inventory Control, and others.

The position of Manager, Store Information Systems provides leadership and expertise to direct reports as well as Store Support teams in store system development, enhancements, as well as improvement and documentation of processes, testing/UAT, and participation to support new efficiencies and systems.

Communicate with field management and corporate partners to educate, inform and provide various tools necessary to ensure maximum operational and systemic efficiencies.  Identify and respond to operational issues in stores.

What You'll Do:

Partner with field users and corporate partners to develop technical solutions to improve our customer and associate experience and boost productivity in stores. 

 Dayforce

  • Manage and support WFM application for stores.
  • Strive to optimize the WFM Application as the source of Payroll data
  • Coordinate with business partners to support integrations of Dayforce data to other systems
  • Oversee quarterly Dayforce upgrades

POS

  • Manage relationship with IT partners
  • Maintain an ongoing backlog of store requests and priorities
  • Facilitate the development of Business Requirements and oversee requirements reviews with IT partners
  • Execute on User Acceptance Testing
  • Develop communication and training materials for store teams as needed

Manage Vendor Solutions (Concierge, Omni, PlayerLync, etc.)

  • Collaborate with internal business partners as well as vendors to identify issues/opportunities and work to resolution
  • Execute on User Acceptance Testing
  • Develop communication and training materials for store teams as needed

Collaborate with Business Partners

  • Partner with the pricing and promotion team to develop optimal ringing processes and instructions for ease of associate use and customer experience
  • Work with the Communication Team to keep stores and Field Leaders aware of upcoming systems changes and impacts
  • Regularly obtain feedback from our field teams to understand any obstacles in relation to systems to identify updates and future fixes to streamline

Future Initiatives

  • Coordinate with IT on store’s rollout and communication of the network refresh, pin pad replacement and other projects
  • Participate in special projects to make decisions that impact stores’ business processes to introduce new features or optimize existing

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 8-10+ years experience in retail environment with exposure to operations and in systems environment with exposure to store systems and operations.
  • Knowledge of the implementation of business systems in a retail environment at a level normally acquired through previous experience managing of significant system rollouts: POS, Oracle Financials, and workforce management.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of PC systems and software
  • Experience with technical alternatives and basic knowledge of emerging technologies
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and oral and organizational skills.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities concurrently and proactively manage potential issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills including effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to foster and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships
  • Ability to rely on judgment and experience to plan and accomplish goals
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
