Position Title: Technology Analyst I

Tech Analyst – End User Services

 The Tech Analyst / End User Services, supports and maintains all desktop software and hardware including Windows and Macintosh operating systems.  Meet approved service level agreements for system availability, perform software upgrades, maintain current patch levels on all end user resources, script solutions and deploy/inventory new hardware. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Deployment and support of local/remote end user hardware including laptops, desktops, iOS and Android devices. Must be knowledgeable in the latest hardware technologies and system architectures.  
  • ProvideTier-2 and Tier-3 support for local and remote users. Maintain all desktop operating systems and all enterprise software applications in the Corporate environment. This includes, but is not limited to, problem troubleshooting/resolution, desktop patching, hardware/software inventory, hardware relocation, software installations, threat analysis and virus definitions updates. 
  • Provide Tier-1and Tier-2 support for the local call center.  This includes physical and soft phones, call management and routing software as well as other business critical devices and software packages. 
  • Responsible for Operating System maintenance and application deployment using a combination of desktop imaging products, SCCM and VMWare Workspace One. Familiarity with Powershell and other command line utilities a plus. 
  • Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure that proper security procedures are implemented and enforced based on internal policies and procedures (patch management, configuration, hardening, etc.)and safeguard security of equipment and data files 
  • Senior Management Level support as needed
  • Follows the established principles of the Information Technology Mission, Vision, Values and Principles (MVVP)

Qualifications 

  • 2years related experience 
  • Experience with current operating systems on workstation and mobile platforms
  • Understanding of Active Directory.  Azure AD experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 Suite including Outlook and Teams is a plus 
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and must possess the ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to meet project deliverables and communicate any unscheduled changes.
  • Keen problem-solving skills, ability to deal with complex situations and recommend a technical solution
  • Desire to learn new technology and to stay well-informed of current technical trends.
  • Understanding of Mobile Device Management is a plus 
  • Experience with ticketing systems like Cherwell, ServiceNow, etc.
  • Call Center IT and/or Retail IT experience a plus
