Position Title: Online Marketing Coordinator

External Description:

Basic Purpose:  

 This position supports the development and implementation of omni-channel online marketing programs across all channels. The Coordinator assists our online marketing analyst in the everyday maintenance of marketing programs for search, display, affiliate, refer a friend, paid social, and product listing ads that drive profitable sales among our target customer.  The Coordinator is an entry level role that will provide the opportunity to learn foundational online marketing strategies, tactics and executions, as well as develop a better understanding of the retail business overall.

Principal Accountabilities:  

  • Assist the Online Marketing Analysts in executing and trafficking online marketing programs across paid search, display, affiliate, paid social and product listing ads
  • Conduct keyword research to help identify areas of opportunity to grow and refine the paid search program
  • Traffic ads across display, paid social and affiliate marketing to ensure targeting and reporting parameters align with campaign efforts
  • Q/A product feeds and online ads to ensure data in ads match the website
  • Compile campaign performance and delivery data for all channels to help generate reports, insights and optimizations
  • Monitor performance daily & weekly and optimize as necessary & report back to appropriate teams
  • Review of creative materials to make sure they meet requirements and best practice
  • Coordinate cross-functionally (visual, creative, production, direct marketing, public relations, ecommerce, store ops, customer service etc.) to ensure that project is executable and align across-channels
  • Assist in updating budgets, bids and targeting settings across channels to ensure goals are reached and maximize performance
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis across channels to identify challenges and opportunities to help find efficiencies and drive results
  • Help manage invoicing process in partnership with the finance and accounting department

 Education/Experience/Knowledge:

  • College degree
  • 0-1 years of eCommerce/online marketing experience
  • Ability to think strategically, conceptually, and creatively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytics skills, ability to manage budgets and analysis
  • Ability to juggle numerous projects at the same time
  • Detail oriented
  • Background in digital display & media planning
  • Experience in online marketing channels (i.e. Affiliate, Feeds, Paid Social)
  • Can work successfully cross-functionally
  • Experience working with digital marketing tools
  • Experience interacting with external account representatives
