The Dress for Success partnership has been incredible and one of the things I am most proud of since returning to Talbots. It’s about women helping women and our relationship with DFS coupled with our customer’s dedication to the cause only exemplifies the power of community.
For the last five years, Talbots has raised money and collected clothing donations on behalf of Dress for Success. We also collaborated with O, The Oprah Magazine, and together created a capsule collection where 30% of the net proceeds go directly to DFS. To date, we have raised close to 4 million dollars and have collected over 15,000 boxes of clothing. What has been unbelievable to see is the outpouring of devotion and commitment from the Talbots customer. Our collective impact is the result of the relationships we share within our communities across the country. This proves there is profound power in women lifting up and supporting other women.
