Position Title: Intern
The Merchandise Intern will gain an understanding on merchandising’s role on a day to day basis, experiencing the product life cycle from line development to in store set, see how a buy/product comes to life, understand cross functional relationships and functions and gain a basic understanding of product calendar. The intern will also strengthen their excel skills and gain an understandings of basic merchandising metrics.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create and update new processes for the team to help streamline workload
- Organize samples and maintenance of sample library, size curve entering, browse competition to note prevalent trends, basic reporting pulls for any ad hoc analysis.
- Currently enrolled and working towards a college degree
- Knowledge of excel
- Store experience a plus
- Most importantly a curiosity and desire to learn
